Consumer Awareness Workshop by BIS,Gzb

 *BIS, Ghaziabad organised Consumer Awareness Workshop in Eastend Apartments RWA* 

Celebrating Consumer Rights Day, Bureau of Indian Standards, Ghaziabad organised a Workshop in Residential Welfare Association "Eastern Apartments", Ghaziabad.The workshop was lead by Ayush Raj(Standard Promotion Consultant,BIS Ghaziabad) and Vishvendra Tanwar(Resource Person,BIS Ghaziabad)

Residents,Students and Members of the Community attended the Workshop supported by Salaam Namaste Community Radio as the outreach Partner.

The program was opened by Swagat geet presented by kids of Neerja Footpath Shaala.

Attendees participated in Jago Art, Jago Slogans, Jago Skit.

Ayush Raj shared efforts done by Bureau of Indian Standards to make thd Consumers aware and safeguarding from any fraudulent practices.Manak Mitra,BIS Care App,Manak Mahotsav are amongst them.

Vishvendra Tanwar shared Women should be aware and precautious while purchasing Gold ornaments.He shared Youth plays a very active role in Community Mobilization and BIS organises Youth to Youth Outreach Programs.

Poonam Narain, renowned Artist judged the best Jago Art and declared Devika Katyal and Shanvi Baranwal as the Winners.Parth ANC Vishal bagged the best Jago Slogan Title.

Aarya Tandon won the Best Jago Speaker.

Stationhead of Salaam Namaste Radio,Barsha Chabaria and Vishvendra Tanwar(Resource Person BIS, Ghaziabad)distributed certificates of participation to all and felicitated the Winners and Vice President Eastend Apartments Mr.V.P.Kaushal Jee along with coordinator Madhu Gupta.The program culminated with Group pic and refreshments.Bureau of Indian Standards is celebrating Consumer Awareness Month this March'24 in association with Salaam Namaste Community Radio followed by more Awareness Workshops in Residential Welfare Associations.
