 *BIS, Ghaziabad organised Consumer Awareness Workshop in Eastend Apartments RWA*  Celebrating Consumer Rights Day, Bureau of Indian Standards, Ghaziabad organised a Workshop in Residential Welfare Association "Eastern Apartments", Ghaziabad.The workshop was lead by Ayush Raj(Standard Promotion Consultant,BIS Ghaziabad) and Vishvendra Tanwar(Resource Person,BIS Ghaziabad) Residents,Students and Members of the Community attended the Workshop supported by Salaam Namaste Community Radio as the outreach Partner. The program was opened by Swagat geet presented by kids of Neerja Footpath Shaala. Attendees participated in Jago Art, Jago Slogans, Jago Skit. Celebrating Traditional Sources of Nutrition

 Celebrating Poshan Pakhwada in the district, a Special Workshop was organised in Geja Village at New Noida Public School as a joint initiative of Integrated Child Development Services and Salaam Namaste Community Radio on the theme of "Traditional Sources of Nutrition" District Program Officer Smt.Poonam Tiwari addressed Students of the School in Geja Village emphasising on value of home cooked and nutritious food, innovative way of inclusion of Millets,Jowar,Bajra in our daily diet and take special care of handwashing and Hygiene.She shared a simple formula of Suman- K for handwashing which is simple to understand too. Dietitian Shweta Jain encouraged students to quit fast food and enhance awareness about Traditional Sources of Nutrition. Brain Master beats Ages

Rachhit Kalra a young child of only 3 years and 4 months has become the youngest (Rubik's) Cuber of India. He has solved 3 kinds of cubes - the 3 x 3 x 3, 2 x 2 x 2 and the Pyraminx. The record was witnessed and accorded by Board members of Indian Cube Association (ICA) who specially travelled from Vapi for this event. The event was held at the Kalra residence in Chembur, Mumbai. An interesting fact as per the chairman of the ICA in that approximately only 0.01% of the world population are able to solve the Rubik's Cube. Proud mother Mrs. Prerna Kalra along with his teacher Mrs. Poonam Vadhavan have been training him from one and half months. Earlier this month Rachhit had travelled with his mother to Delhi for 10 days to learn with his teacher who is Delhi based and also successfully participated in the Guinness Book of Records event for largest number of people solving Rubik's 3 x 3 x 3 cube on a virtual platform.
