Shakti Samman to Doctors at Fortis Escorts,Okhla

 Salaam Namaste Community Radio celebrated "Shakti Samvaad" for the entire month of March and 30 women from different domains were awarded the title of Shakti Samman.

Under this umbrella, their outstanding contribution in various fields like entrepreneurship, social work, environment, Art, Home entrepreneurship, Education, and most importantly Women health workers was catered into.

Women not only take care of the health of all in the family, but their contribution of women as health workers emerged as a strong force during the global epidemic corona. The participation of women in the field of health is beyond comparison. In this initiative, Dr. Aparna Jaswal, the Director in the Department of Cardiac pacing and Electrophysiology at Fortis Escorts Heart Institute, and Dr. Parvathi U Iyer, Director Pediatric Intensive Care at Fortis Escorts Heart Instituter were awarded the coveted Shakti Samman in the field of Health. Station head, Salaam Namaste Barsha Chabaria thanked him for their contribution by presenting them with a memento and a token.

Dr. Aparna shared that it is very important for women to love themselves firstly, as it is very important for women to be healthy in body and soul. Dr.Parvati shared that in the fast-paced life today women are generally seen with symptoms of obesity.
