Child line se Dosti week brings Child Health and Child Mentorship

 Childline all across the nation is celebrating "Childline Se Dosti Week".Childline is a national helpline "1098" to help kids in distress invite Community participation, work on Child Education for the ones who are not so privileged, stop Child marriage cases, spread awareness on Health and Education.

Salaam Namaste Community Radio in association with Childline Greater Noida organized a Panel Discussion with the theme of Happy Childhood Healthy Childhood.

Mr.Abhishek Awasthi, State in-charge of Childline Uttarpradesh, Mala Bhandari Director Childline and founder-Director Sadraag NGO, Anita Rana Childline Meerut, Dr.Dt.Sheenu Sanjeev, Life Coach Sangeeta Kabra, and Adnan Usmani Childline Greaternoida Coordinator graced the panel. Mala Bhandari Jee shared that what lies behind the real happiness of a kid is Child safety which is really important. Abhishek Jee shared how at a State commendable efforts on Child education and child safety have been done but what we still lack is "Social Vigilance".Anita Rana shared her experiences of Community ownership that has brought successful happy childhood cases. Dr. Sheenu Sanjeev shared that happiness starts from Good health and health starts from good hygiene, every family should adhere to the same. Health Education is really important. Life Coach Sangeeta Kabra shared that mentoring and counseling all Children is really important today to help them to explore more and extensively. Adnan Usmani, Coordinator Childline Greater Noida shared that there are still cases of Child marriages and child sexual abuse witnessed in the Community, and childline in this community has been actively bringing happy childhood stories with community intervention.

Station head Salaam Namaste, Barsha Chabaria shared that a week-long celebration is to be done in association with Childline GreaterNoida where discussions, participation voicing out Happy Childhood shall be invited. Poster Making Competitions from kids shall also be a part of this "Childline Se Dosti celebration" Sharing about the future visions Community Supporters and ambassadors shall also be looked for to spread the word about Childline 1098.
